-this is one of those standing make up bags. Until you've used one that stands up and you can fold the front flap to open up visibility into the entire bag you can't even imagine how nice it is
-the front flap can fold over and stays open with some built in magnets. Genius. I have one that stays open w/a snap and it drives me crazy every morning so this is great.....

This is a great bag, well compartmentalized. The fabric is soft yet sturdy and lightly padded. The zipper has large plastic teeth that work quite well and smoothly. There are two small button magnets near the top of each side that will hold the flaps together on the hotel counter when you don’t want to have to keep zipping it open and shut but want it temporarily closed.
When flying we need to keep our liquids in our 311 bag. All the little tubes of things we have can be easily transferred back into the convenient assorted size pockets of this bag when we arrive at our destination. Or if going on a cruise you can just pack at home and go without any transferring needed.
This is a great size, not too small, not too large for most people. It holds a lot for its size. The organization is easy and viewable when opening the top. The shape of the bottom is perfect for those tiny cruise ship counters.
I like the pink color and think this seems like it will wash well if needed.

In reality, I had trouble getting the magnets to stay connected, so the sides kept popping back up. The magnets also seem to make the bag a bit top-heavy, so it will work much better if you carry a lot in it.
The bag is well-sewn, with tight seams, no loose threads, and no visible clumps of knots. The fabric isn't corduroy, although it's got that look. The zipper is plastic, which is not ideal, but it works well, and the heart-shaped pull is a fun detail.
